Sr. SAP BASIS Administrator
Location: - San Francisco, CA
Duration: - 6+ months
Responsibilities: -
  • SAP software product installation, configuration, integration, upgrade, and testing services for new projects and on-going maintenance for SAP environments on IBM AIX servers.
  • Provide expert level SAP Basis support, Oracle database admin and tuning, with solid AIX system admin as well as hardware and operating system software diagnostics experience.
  • Manage and implement system patches, fixes, and upgrades.
  • Advise and develop SAP solution architectures for complex business requirements.
  • Strong SAP PI and Solution Manager experienced desired.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve computing problems involving SAP (ECC, BI, SRM, CCM, XI, PI, eWM, Solution Manager, and EP), system hardware, third party software, and operating system software.
  • Experience with ChaRM, TDMS, GRC a big plus.
  • Provide performance tuning, problem analysis and system administration for Oracle databases and SAP instances.  
 
Technical Services
  • Provide installation, configuration, integration, upgrade, and testing services for new projects and on-going maintenance for SAP environments on IBM AIX servers running with an Oracle database.
  • Provide expert level SAP Basis support, Oracle database admin and tuning, as well as hardware and software diagnostics. 
  • Manage and implement system patches, fixes, and support pack upgrades. 
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve computing problems involving any installed SAP product (ECC, BI, EP, SRM, CCM, PI, SCM, gATP, e-Recruit, and Solution Manager) system hardware, third party software (e.g. OpenText, Click, etc.) and operating system software.
  • Provide performance tuning, problem analysis and system administration for Oracle databases and SAP instances.
  • Identify repeatable processes and work with various IT teams and products (UC4, Oracle Enterprise Manager, BMC Patrol, SMC Remedy, etc.) to automate support and tasks required for SAP environments.
  • Responsible for ensuring the continued update of necessary systems support documentation and following documented procedures. 
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support and flexibility to provide after hour and weekend support as needed.
